Sun Catchers & Wall Art
My sun catchers are all unique. Most hang from pieces of driftwood collected from Lake Oconnee or near St. Simon's Island. I make the individual ceramic pieces and many of the ceramic beads. The ceramic pieces are fired a second time after the normal process with added stained glass atop or filling the "cups". I add found objects, pieces of driftwood, and glass, wood, semi-precious stone beads to wire and cord to complete the sun catchers. The sun catchers are not intended for outside use although they will do fine on protected porches. They sparkle wonderfully in windows, in sun rooms or in well-lit areas. Some are suitable as dividers. They make a nice tinkling sound when a light breeze touches them.
